12/14/2023 0 Comments Mountain dew pitch black for sale![]() ![]() Upon the first sip your tongue is immediately met with the knives of a thousand citrus flavored carbonation bubbles. I’m not sure what would come first but this and Code Red are now neck and neck. Instantly I can rank this as a Top 2 Dew for me. This isn’t nearly as EXTREME as I thought it would be but I find that’s working out for the experience thus far. What we’re here for is transporting me back to 2004 so that I may experience the apparent amazement that is Mountain Dew Pitch Black… and so we shall. ![]() I’m kind of curious what Pitch Black would taste like without its blast of black grape but we’re not here for that today. I figured this was Mountain Dew with a blast of black grape but what do I know. Based on scent alone this is Mountain Dew with grape flavoring, oddly enough the label clearly states that this is Pitch Black with a BLAST of BLACK GRAPE. The scent I was greeted with was that of citrus and grape… heavy on the grape fortunately. Ok… so that’s not quite what I was expecting. I really wish I had a black light to see if this bottle could truly be fantastical. The label is a very extreme purple matching the color of the beverage itself. Well looky here! Thanks to Mountain Dew… or should I say Mtn Dew (I will never say “Mtn Dew” again in this review because it’s asinine) I can now experience what I originally missed all without the help of a Delorian… which of course is points against. If only I had some sort of way I could travel back to 2004 and give the original a try. ![]() Pitch Black 2 was alright but nothing cult worthy to me so I figured that the original must have been heads and tails above its sequel. I feigned all of the excitement one might have seen since I never got the chance to try the original. Back in 2005 I tried to jump on the pseudo-bandwagon when Pitch Black 2 came out. As I understand this beverage has quite the following and it seems that it’s high time that I jump on the bandwagon. KFC had Lightning, Sam’s Club had Berry Monsoon, Speedway had Cyclone, Bojangles had Southern Shock, Sheetz and Kum & Go had Atomic Blue, Which Wich had Vibe, and Applebee’s had Dark Berry Bash.So apparently being a soda reviewer I’m supposed to review this limited edition Mountain Dew Pitch Black. Mountain Dew is no stranger to releasing restaurant- or store-specific flavors. “Together, our goal is to elevate the sports viewing and dining experience, with MTN DEW Legend serving as the ultimate wingman.” “Buffalo Wild Wings and MTN DEW both know a thing or two about passionate fan bases and how to take celebrations to the next level with great-tasting food and beverages,” Scott Finlow, chief marketing officer, PepsiCo Global Foodservice, said in a press release. Yes, that means you can only get the dark drink at the restaurant - specifically, at select locations this month and at all 1,200 locations by May 2022. The new Mountain Dew Legend is the first exclusive PepsiCo beverage to Buffalo Wild Wings. If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that this is certainly a bold beverage. The black sip combines the original flavor with notes of blackberry, citrus, and ginger. The classic Mountain Dew soda is a citrus-flavored soda, but the new Legend variety goes a different route. Wings and DEW is certainly a match made in sports bar heaven. ![]() Beginning this month, you can find Mountain Dew Legend, a pitch-black-colored beverage, at Buffalo Wild Wings. It’s time for a new Mountain Dew flavor from PepsiCo, and it’s certainly crossed over to the dark side. ![]()
